Information we collect
When you request an assessment, we collect the information you choose to provide. Name, email address, and ZIP code are required. Pool type, plan interest, phone number, preferred contact method, service address, pool size, and notes are optional.
If you become a customer, we may also maintain service details, pool-care records, quotes, invoices, payment status, and communication history.
How we use information
- Respond to assessment requests and recommend an appropriate service plan.
- Communicate about scheduling, pool service, quotes, payments, and support.
- Maintain customer, service, accounting, and payment-reminder records.
- Protect the website and staff tools from spam, fraud, and unauthorized use.
- Comply with applicable accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate the business, including website hosting and database services, Google Workspace tools for email and organizing requests, and Square for card checkout and recurring billing. We share information with these providers only as needed for those functions.
We do not sell personal information or use the assessment form for third-party advertising.
Payments
The public assessment form never asks for card information. When card payment or recurring billing is approved, the customer completes payment on a Square-hosted checkout. Dr's Pool Service receives transaction and payment-status information but does not receive or store the full card number through this website.
If another payment method is arranged, the related customer and payment status may still be recorded in the protected staff system for business tracking.
Website and security data
The site uses limited technical information, such as IP address and browser details, to prevent automated abuse and rate-limit repeated requests. A language preference may be stored in your browser so the site can remember English or Spanish.
We use administrative, technical, and access controls designed to protect customer information. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and your choices
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide service, manage payments, protect the business, and meet recordkeeping obligations. Retention can vary by record type.
You may contact us to ask what information you provided, request a correction, or request deletion. We may need to verify the request and may retain records required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law.
Children and changes
This website is intended for people seeking residential pool service and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this notice when the website or business process changes. The date above will show the latest revision.
